This week I posted another short story on my website while also posting it on my social media (Facebook, Twitter) to increase engagement. Additionally, I also posted a link to Wattpad for two chapters of my novel on my Facebook page which got me high reach compared to previous posts.
This week I also worked on my brand video to make it more authentic and less amateur looking by cropping the screenshots of my website. I then re-posted the video to reflect this.
Additionally, I’ve been looking into different ways of promoting my website and my writing by considering ads, as well as considering the use of influencers in the industry. Right now I am attracting more attention towards my website through the use of Social Media but I might use Social Media more effectively going forward.
Finally, based on points from lecture, I’ve added a contact form on my website in order to deal with any concerns or complaints as well as adding in my Social Media in order to have a presentable, interpersonal and open presence with followers and customers.
